2013 / Launched as a regional economic development initiative to make visible Sacramento’s global leadership position as a food hub and an integrated agricultural research center, I was on the leadership panel for the development of the World Food Center concept designed to establish a new crossroads where global agribusiness and academic research might collaborate to address the environmental challenges posed by population growth.

In the case study for this concept, I led the research on  performance factors for collaborative workspace and the conceptual design of the Center as a UC Davis campus building. The initiative was approved in 2013.
